Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Linguary (“Linguary” or “the App”). By downloading or using Linguary, you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”). If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.
Educational purpose
Linguary provides language-learning and reference material. It does not guarantee fluency, examination results, professional certification, or that every translation, explanation, or example will be error-free. You are responsible for deciding how to use the educational information provided.
Subscriptions
Linguary may offer automatically renewing monthly or annual subscriptions that provide access to premium content and features for the selected subscription period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Available plans, periods, and prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by country or region.
Apple processes payments, cancellations, and eligible refund requests under Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
Future features and languages
Descriptions of planned languages or features are statements of current intent, not guarantees. Features, content, availability, and release timing may change.
Acceptable use
You may use Linguary for personal, lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the App, circumvent access controls, misuse subscription features, extract or redistribute substantial portions of the content, or use the App in violation of applicable law.
Intellectual property
Linguary’s software, presentation, original text, organization, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited right to use the App; they do not transfer ownership of Linguary or its content.
Availability and changes
We may improve, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Linguary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update these terms, and the current version will be posted on this page.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linguary is provided “as is” and “as available.” Any warranties, remedies, and limitations that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. Additional provisions in Apple’s Standard EULA also apply.
